What are the Stripe fees on top of Slootly's fees?
Stripe charges 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction. Slootly's fee (2.5% Free / 1.5% Pro) is applied on top. So on the Free plan, a $10 payment costs $0.59 in Stripe fees + $0.25 in Slootly fees = $0.84 total, and you receive $9.16.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade from Free to Pro at any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Your transaction fee rate changes immediately on upgrade.
Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes. Slootly uses Stripe Connect to route payments directly to your Stripe account. You will connect your existing account or create a new one during onboarding. Slootly never holds your funds.
What happens when I hit the $500/mo limit on Free?
New subscription payments will be paused until the next billing cycle, or until you upgrade to Pro. Existing active subscriptions continue working -- we never interrupt your users.
Is there a contract or commitment?
No. Pro is billed monthly with no commitment. You can cancel anytime and keep using Slootly on the Free plan. Enterprise contracts are negotiated individually.
